Nikko- 3(Lake Chuzenji and Kegon Waterfall)

Visiting old shrines and temples, enjoying local foods, hiking in marshland.

Don't forget to visit  a beautiful lake in mountains.
It's Lake Chuzenji.
And you can also find Kegon Waterfall near the lake. 
Though there are several waterfalls in Nikko, this Kegon waterfall is the most famous one.

Only 45minutes by bus from Tobu Nikko station.The nearest bus stop is Chuzenji Onsen.
It's a small town in lakeside.

Actually the most beautiful season is Autumn in this lake, 
but it's still beautiful  and good to visit.

The lake is surrounded by woods. We can see mountains, woods, villas, hiking trails and a small island in the lake from small boat.

So, not many activities in the lake. Maybe you can enjoy boat or pedal boat. Having fresh fish from the lake, and hiking lakeside.

Small hotels and restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops are on the main street in lakeside.
Enjoy having nice lunch and shopping!
